The sand and rubber filled soccer carpet, loose laid on the Sportbase panels has resulted in a professional standard playing surface that the children adore. They are now able to jump for the ball and slide tackle with complete confidence.

Paul Sharrock, the Deputy Head Teacher initiated the project and worked tirelessly raising money for this facility. ' The children are so pleased with the pitch, ' he says 'I know it's going to make a huge difference to them and I'm proud to have been able to make such a positive change to the school'.

The school were very impressed with the speed and efficiency with which the pitch was installed. The competative prices offered by Sportslawn provided a solution to the problem of continual use of tarmac for sports and play.

New All Weather Pitch for Woodheys Primary School

Laura Daniels, Head Teacher at Woodheys Primary School in Sale, Cheshire is thrilled with the schools new All Weather Pitch.

The 24m x 30m pitch provided by Sportslawn Ltd has a third generation, sand and rubber filled surface. The children are playing sports with new confidence and there are less additions to the school accident book!

The school enlisted Chris Bullock, a Football Association accredited coach, to help choose the correct size and surface. Mr Bullock who uses the pitch for out of school coaching says the surface is 'Fantastic!' The Extended Schools Initiative helped with the funding.

Mrs Daniels has said 'The pitch is wonderful, and great value. Sportslawn gave us a very competitive price compared with the other companies that quoted.'

The pitch was finished with Sportslawn Kickboards manufactured from tough recycled plastic. Mrs Daniels commented 'We have a small vandal problem at the school and one surprising benefit is the ease with which we are able to remove grafitti from the fence, all that was needed was a cloth and some white spirits.'

Chard School Install a Playlawn Playground

Chard School in Chard, Somerset has recently completed the installation of a brand new Playlawn.

Mrs Stotesbury, the Headmaster's wife, said 'We are absolutely thrilled with our Playlawn.
